Hawker Station, a delightful chicken-centric cart, is a haven for Asian comfort food enthusiasts seeking a taste of home in the heart of Portland. Owned by the talented Andy Kou, the cart specializes in the lesser-known Hong Kong/Singapore-style chicken and rice, a dish infused with nostalgic flavors and cherished memories. The star of the menu is the Hainanese chicken rice, served in containers brimming with succulent perfectly-cooked chicken, expertly complemented by an array of flavorful  sauces such as ginger scallion, lemongrass Thai chili, and sweet soy sauce. While the chicken and rice are undoubtedly what Chef Andy is known best for, his menu specials reflect his cravings, resulting in a variety of delightful limited-edition dishes such as whole-fried fish or chinese-inspired spaghetti.
